R.I. native tapped to fill marketing role
Wall was forced out just days after the state’s dismal rollout of a new tourism campaign branded with the slogan “Cooler & Warmer.”
She has been replaced by Lara Salamano, a University of Rhode Island graduate with 20 years of marketing experience, Commerce Secretary Stefan Pryor announced at a news conference Friday. Salamano, 45, said she gave notice Thursday to Pop Media, a CBS/Lionsgate company in New York, where she’s vice president of partner marketing. She starts here July 11.
