Nancy Dell: How much “when” you eat affects weight; maple syrup benefit

Given the fact that maple syrup comes from trees, it is not surprising that it may have some health benefits. Researchers at the University of Rhode Island have identified 53 compounds in maple syrup that act as antioxidants and reduce inflammation. Most of the compounds can be found in other plants as well, but 4 of the compounds are unique to maple syrup.
