URI to host engineering, technology career fair, Oct. 8

WHO: Hundreds of University of Rhode Island students and alumni interested in careers in engineering and technology, along with more than 50 companies, including FM Global, Dimeo Construction, General Dynamics, Gilbane, GTECH, National Grid, Raytheon, Schneider Electric and many more.


WHAT: The URI College of Engineering’s annual career fair provides students with an opportunity to meet with potential employers to learn about job openings and internship opportunities. For the media, it is an excellent chance to talk with company representatives about the job market and their hiring plans, and to hear from students about their job search and prospects for employment.


WHERE: The URI Ryan Center, 1 Lincoln Almond Plaza, Kingston.


WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
