WHO:            Representatives of the Rhode Island Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council, along with Carolyn Sarno of Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships and executives from National Grid, Oil Heat Institute, New Buildings Institute, Building Futures RI, Veissmann Group, R.I. Department of Labor and Training, and others involved in energy efficiency and workforce development.

WHAT:         A public forum focusing on how energy efficiency policies are contributing jobs and the need for targeted workforce development efforts, and how energy efficiency-related companies are adapting to changes in the marketplace. Sarno will present a keynote entitled “The Modern Day Rosie The Riveter: Building the Clean Energy Workforce for Everyone.” The event will conclude with a discussion of how the public can contribute to the development of Rhode Island’s energy efficiency plan.

WHEN:         Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, from 3 to 5 p.m.
