URI student leaders to be recognized, April 9

WHAT: The 25th Annual A. Robert Rainville Leadership Awards ceremony at the University of Rhode Island, honoring undergraduate students who have excelled in leadership, employee, and team roles on campus.


WHEN: Tuesday, April 9, 6 p.m.


WHERE: URI Memorial Union Ballroom, Kingston, R.I.


Background on the event: These awards are presented each year by the Office of Student Involvement. Faculty, staff, and students nominate exceptional students for four categories (student leadership, servant leadership, student employee, and team leadership). Finalists and their guests are honored at a banquet where the winners are announced. The awards are named in memory of A. Robert Rainville, Vice President for Student Affairs 1980-86, and are among the most prestigious student awards at the University.
