WHAT: South County Habitat for Humanity’s annual “Pound the Pavement, Pound a Nail” walkathon to raise funds to support construction of homes at Old North Village. The walkathon will be followed by a festival and concert featuring Colour of London, sponsored by Alex and Ani.
WHO: Hundreds of University of Rhode Island students, along with supporters of Habitat for Humanity, Alex and Ani representatives, and the general public.
WHEN: Saturday, April 6. Walkathon registration begins at 1 p.m., the walkathon starts at 2 p.m., and the concert and festival starts at 3 p.m.
WHERE: The walkathon begins and ends at the URI Quadrangle, Upper College Road, Kingston, which is also the site of the concert and festival.
