URI professor says R.I. economy has slowed since first quarter

Still, state remains in a recovery


WHAT: During the second quarter, Rhode Island’s rate of growth plateaued, moving the state uncomfortably close to stall speed. At times like this, it is important to remember that Rhode Island is still in a recovery, and that the recovery is moving closer to the 18-moth mark.
