URI economist says state’s rate of economic growth slowing

Current Conditions Index remains at 58 for April


WHAT: Rhode Island began the second quarter in much the same it ended the first: continued slowing in its rate of economic growth. April matched March’s Current Conditions Index of 58, indicating that seven of the 12 indicators improved relative to their values a year ago.
