URI economist says slowing economy fails to moderate

WHAT: Rhode Island’s economy never did as well as originally thought last year. And the economy isn’t exactly starting 2016 with a bang! Rhode Island began 2016 in much the same way it ended 2015, with a slowing economy. January’s Current Conditions was 58.
