Current Conditions Index remains at 58 for 3 straight months


WHAT: The second quarter hasn’t been all that kind to Rhode Island. For May, the Current Conditions Index remained at 58, its third consecutive month at that value, as only 7 of 12 indicators improved relative to their values a year ago.


WHO: URI Professor of Economics Leonard Lardaro, creator and author of the Current Conditions Index.
