URI economist says R.I. gets some better news in February

WHAT: After the discouraging economic news of last month concerning labor market data revisions and resulting changes in the state’s economic performance, comes a bit of a reprieve in February. The Current Conditions Index for February rose 67 from its January value of 58.

BACKGROUND: The Current Conditions Index, created by Lardaro, measures the strength of the present economic climate in Rhode Island by following the behavior of 12 indicators.
