URI economist: End to state’s recession possible by end of 3rd quarter

WHAT: Despite the historic floods of April, the Current Conditions Index for that month was 50, as six of 12 indicators improved, most by strong margins. And even though April’s CCI was eight points lower than March, it easily beat April 2009’s value of eight.
