KINGSTON, R.I. — November 13, 2003 — You don’t have to be a Jack Nicholson or a Nurse Ratched to audition for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. The University of Rhode Island’s Department of Theatre will hold auditions for that play on Dec. 9 in the Fine Arts Center, G Studio. Callbacks are scheduled on Dec. 10 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The first rehearsal for the play will be on Jan. 20. Performance dates are
Feb. 19 -22 and 25 –28, 2004.
Audition requirements: Participants should prepare two contemporary one-minute monologues, one comedic, one serious (not classical).
