Members of the University and local community are invited to attend this free, anonymous, no-obligation screening.
Common signs of depression include difficulty concentrating, irritability, weight, appetite or sleep changes, lethargy, tearfulness, isolation from friends, hopelessness, and/or thoughts of suicide. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you may be depressed.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to gather information, take a brief, written screening test, and meet privately with a counselor. For more information or for further assistance, contact Holly Nichols at the URI Counseling Center, 874-2288.
