URI Career Services offers “The Ultimate Reality Event”

Career fair for jobs, internships & graduate schools, Oct. 28


KINGSTON, R.I. — October 7, 2005 — Career Services at the University of Rhode Island will continue its successful run with large-scale events at the Ryan Center with a program later this month that will offer something for everyone – from jobs, to internships, to graduate school information.


Called “The Ultimate Reality Event, Ryan Center 3 in 1,” the program on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Ryan Center is free and open to the campus community as well as the general public. The fair is actually three events in one: from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a job and internship fair along with a graduate school expo; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., pre-scheduled Pharmacy interviews will take place.


The event is timed for URI’s family weekend to provide parents and students an opportunity to explore future options. More than 100 potential employers representing national, international and regional businesses and graduate schools are registered to attend.
