KINGSTON, R.I .– May 18, 2006 — For the second time in as many years, the University of Rhode Island’s undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 21 will be broadcast live on the Rhode Island Statewide Interconnect C, which can be viewed on Cox Cable (Channel 15) beginning at 12:30.

This year for the second time, RIPBS (Channel 36/Cox Channel 8) has signed on to televise the show too. Viewers in the Warren, Bristol, and Barrington areas can catch the action on Full Channel Cable System, which will carry the ceremony on both RIPBS (Ch 36 WSBE) or on the Rhode Island Statewide Interconnect C (Channel 50). Listeners also have the option to tune their radio dial to WRIU, 90.3 FM to hear the excitement. Even if you live outside the state, you can catch the action by simply turning on your computer.
