Tau Beta Pi inducts many URI engineering students

KINGSTON, R.I. — April 14, 1999 — The University of Rhode Island chapter of Tau Beta Pi inducted 22 URI engineering students at the 1998 initiation ceremony held on December 13. To be inducted a student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Melinda Vitale, a civil engineering major, presided over the ceremonies.
