To students, faculty and staff, the University of Rhode Island apologizes for the difficult conditions and inconvenience this morning. We are canceling classes on all campuses starting at noon today due to continued deterioration of the walkways on campus and the possibility of flooding in surrounding areas later today.

The University’s Facilities Services continue treating the walkways and parking lots around campus.
