Scituate principal to talk about internet security

KINGSTON, R.I.- March 3, 2008- Scituate Middle School Principal Lawrence Filippelli will discuss, “Internet Security” Mar. 7 at the University of Rhode Island’s Forensic Science Seminar.

The event will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Pastore Hall, 51 Lower College Road, Room 124 and is free and open to public.

Filippelli is an adjunct professor at Johnson and Wales University’s Graduate School, and he also lectures in the Doctoral Program in Education Leadership. He is also the district supervisor of the Crisis Response Team for Scituate schools where he coordinates with local and state law enforcement, has connections with local emergency management agencies, and makes and evaluates evacuation routes for all schools with input from local fire authorities.
