Learn from the Ultimate Networker at URI on March 19

KINGSTON, R.I., Feb. 12, 2014 – The University of Rhode Island is offering a chance to learn from the ultimate networker. If you’re looking for a job or want to create a new one, you won’t want to miss a chance to meet the energetic author Daniel Seddiqui on March 19. Free and open to the public, this networking event will be held at 7 p.m. in Swan Hall, 60 Upper College Rd. on the Kingston campus.

Seddiqui wrote 50 Jobs in 50 States – One Man’s Journey of Discovery Across America and is considered a job-hunting expert and cultural analyst. In 50 weeks, he worked a staggering 50 jobs in 50 different states, from a lobsterman in Maine to a cheese maker in Wisconsin. His story has been featured on CNN, Fox News, The Today Show, and many more.

This special event is sponsored by URI’s College of Business Administration, which is celebrating 90 years of academic excellence, and University College, which is introducing the Center for Career & Experiential Education.

Originally scheduled for Feb. 5, this lecture was rescheduled for March 19 due to the high demand.
