KINGSTON, R.I.–October 29, 2009–Police records and privacy, paying for online news, and reporting on the financial crisis, are the topics of this year’s Journalism Day. Co-sponsored by URI’s Department of Journalism and The Rhode Island Press Association, the event will be held Thursday, Nov. 5 at URI’s Kingston campus. It is free and open to the public.
