David M. Dooley to be installed as 11TH URI president, April 8
WHO: Dr. David M. Dooley, U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, Gov. Donald L. Carcieri, higher education officials from Rhode Island and across the country, members of the University of Rhode Island community and the general public.
WHAT: Dr. David M. Dooley will be installed as URI’s 11th president. This is the first formal inauguration of a URI president in more than 35 years.
WHEN: Thursday, April 8. Inauguration ceremony at 2 p.m. in the Ryan Center, followed by community celebration at 4 p.m.
WHERE: The Ryan Center, 1 Lincoln Almond Plaza, Kingston, R.I. Use the Plains Road parking lot, located across the street from the Ryan Center north entrance. Enter through the north entrance doors.
