December Current Conditions Index rises to 75

URI economist points to a number of strong indicator performances


WHAT: Rhode Island ended the year with a very strong December performance. So, while the fourth quarter was still disappointing overall, several of the strong numbers posted in December give reason for hope. December’s Current Conditions Index was 75, rising from consecutive values of 58 for October and November. The December 2013 value was also 58.
