WHAT: 7th Annual Child Development Center’s Art Exchange to benefit the Johnnycake Center in Peace Dale. Children have been busy creating note cards, pencil holders, key chains, bookmarks, and beaded bracelets that will be available in exchange for a donation to the Johnnycake Center. Center teachers and staff have been discussing with the children the role of the Johnnycake Center in the community and its needs. The event is part of the center’s goal to help children develop a sense of compassion for those less fortunate than themselves.
