The Sandi “McGee” Igliozzi Memorial Fund, Inc., was established in 2003 in memory of Sandi Igliozzi, a Coventry resident and University of Rhode Island student, who died in a car accident in 2002. Igliozzi was known for her love of children, and was pursuing a teaching degree at URI. Since its establishment, the fund has awarded more than 20 college scholarships to local high school students.
The cost for the event is $110 per player. The price includes green fees, a golf cart, participation in a hole-in-one contest and a putting contest, a welcome package, a continental breakfast, and a prime rib dinner. Guests may attend dinner for $30 per person; there is no charge for children to attend.
In addition, there are two sponsorship opportunities:
• Tee, $100, includes a tee sign
• Gold, $600, includes foursome player fees, a tee sign, and one dozen golf balls
